The climbing wall was designed by students Ryan Spense and Tim Pierson. It was built with student funding by students with the help fo facilities services staff. The wall was completed in 1996.

The wall utilized the converted raquetball space incredible well.

Features:
- Left wall: features a steep slab and verticle wall
- Back wall: multiple angled overhanging by 20-50%.
- Right wall: consistent overhang of 10% to give you a great pump.
